Happy Families

Varen is a wonderful kitty. We've loved having him in our home. He's a very special kitty who has filled a big role in our family. Our oldest girl is autistic, and I had done months of research on certain animals being instrumental in establishing a special connection for opening a doorway into the world of special needs children. Varen has definitely opened that doorway for us. He's so good with both our girls as well as all the children who come into our home (I teach violin, viola, and cello). I have students who are also on the spectrum as well as other special needs, and Varen is so good for all of them.

Some of Varen's special quirks include a love for ice cubes. He dashes into the kitchen every time he hears the freezer open. He has what we call the 5:00 afternoon dash. Most days we watch him as he dashes from one end of the house to the other, always sometime around 5:00. He loves the laser light and is very playful. He also asks for frequent belly rubs by laying in the middle of the floor belly up.

Varen has adopted the whole family. He sleeps with our oldest, but he cuddles and purrs with any one of us. He's an all around very special kitty. He's been the first that our oldest has repeated thanked us for. Many nights at bed time she always tells us thank you for her kitty. I pass that on to you. Thank you so very much for working with us and letting us adopt a very special kitty.

Hi, Pam, I'd be glad to tell anyone about our awesome ragdoll kitty. Finn has always been healthy and active, and I believe he is about 2 years old. Finn has a personality like no other cat I've ever known! (and I've had many in my years). He LOVES to play fetch with hair elastics. As long as you want to flick them all over the room, he will chase them and bring them back. He loves to cuddle but is just fine is you want your space. He is totally relaxed with kids and will let you do just about anything with him as long as it doesn't hurt. He is absolutely beautiful and really fluffy, and sleeps in weird , entertaining positions. Never had such a fun cat-in many ways more like a dog! Mindy

Absolutely in love with my new chocolate point boy, Simon! He is incredibly sweet and loving, very good with the rest of my cats, and a very well bred Ragdoll. I am the owner of Rarity Ragdolls in MA, and Simon will be part of my breeding program when he is ready. He is a nice big boy, and I can’t wait to see what he produces with my girls. Our kitten is doing so well! I'm fostering a litter of puppies and he absolutely adores them. He'll jump in their pen all the time and wrestle with them. It's so cute! Then cuddles up either with me or my dog. Such a good kitty!

Just wanted to let you know Nova (we are calling her Margo) is doing great! She did very well on the plane with Joseph and she is quite happy in her new home. She is confident and friendly and so loving. And playful! So grateful to have her in my life and thank you for everything!

The kids renamed Tot, Snowball. He’s been doing awesome and acclimated to the madness of our kids and our big dog.

My ragdoll is doing well so far. He will be 7 years old next month. He reached 18 pounds. He is a very good and loving cat. (2026)

He still has his quirks, but he is a wonderful cat and is quite expressive. Belly rubs are his weakness, and he loves blocking the Air Conditioner.

Note: Bentley was a stud here a while ago. He decided he could not be confined and for safety reasons and breeding issues (no surprise litters), he needed to be rehomed. He had escaped the house a year or two before and was gone for 3 days. I don't think he ever left the yard, but we couldn't find him. We did finally, after seeing him run into the open garage. It took 20 minutes to dig him out of the hiding spot. He was quite traumatized and was pretty leary of people after that. He started out pretty timid.

We worked with Lightfoot Ragdolls nearly two years ago to get the most wonderful cat we've every had. Bazooka is an orange boy Ragdoll and the best cat we could have for our little family. He loves to be near our kids - even in the bathroom, loves to be snuggled - even if my son is a bit too heavy handed, and has the absolute best temperament (see pictures). They may not look like it from the pics I sent, but they get their daily brushing, which they love. They are very cuddly cats with lots of personality...just what we were hoping for. They play with our 3.5 year old granddaughter quite well, which tires all of them out. Thanks for doing such a great job with them!

I am absolutely in with my two kittens from Lightfoot Ragdolls. Pamela Lowther Banta was excellent at communicating and answering all of my questions in a timely manner. She also provided weekly pictures so I could watch them grow. Butterscotch and Oliver are amazing, very well socialized babies that are super fluffy and super soft. You can tell Pam and her family raise each and every baby with tender loving care and spend tons of time loving on them and playing with them. My kittens definitely arrived happy, healthy and well socialized. I would not hesitate to recommend Pam and her kittens at Lightfoot Ragdolls! -Connie
